A thank you note is a must after going to an interview. Do not skip this step! We encourage you to provide a handwritten thank you note if possible. Be sure to grab a business card at the end of your interview so you have the information of the note recipient.
Here's a sample thank you note. Yours should be personal to you and your experience with the interviewer. Remember, this is a chance to help build real human connection while showing off your professional polish!
Dear Ms. Jones,
Thank you very much for taking the time to speak with me about the internship opportunity at Cactus Feeders. I truly appreciated the chance to learn more about your operations, your values-driven approach to agriculture, and the role this internship plays in supporting your mission.
As a student at West Texas A&M University with a strong interest in sustainable livestock production and ag-business, I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to a company that is not only committed to innovation and efficiency, but also to people and community. Our conversation reinforced my enthusiasm for the position, and I’m eager for the possibility to learn from and work alongside the Cactus Feeders team.
Please let me know if there’s any additional information I can provide. Thank you again for your time and consideration—I hope to have the opportunity to be a part of your impactful work.
Sincerely,
Bucky Buffalo
